I liked how this looked and seemed simple and convenient but it’s not so straight forward. For starters, there’s no line or marker anywhere indicating the amount of water to put in the main container (before slipping the center bucket in) so it’s real easy to under or over fill it and have to adjust. You can either try to slip a thin stream down between the external and internal buckets but you risk running a drip into the ice.
Once it’s properly filled, you have to make sure to put the inner bucket in and press it all the way down to ensure a nice even seal around the bottom. A little easier said than done. Once that’s done, you put the top on, which also doesn’t seem to catch a nice seal very easily. Then pop it in the freezer for a couple of hours.
Whether or not you have trouble filling it, having the bucket full of conveniently sized ice shards sounds good in theory, but you having the whole ice bucket out, you’re exposing all that ice to the warmth outside your freezer which then causes all the ice to stick together later.
I’ll give it some stars for a couple of reasons: I love the size of the ice, I love the satisfaction of squeezing all the ice out of the crannies and due to the size of the ice pieces, they freeze rather quickly. Much faster than traditional cubes. For that I am satisfied.

Great idea. Container that makes ice cubes, can be used as storage for the ice afterwards. On the one hand, it validates the space it takes in the fridge (slightly wider than expected, like a really fat tumbler) but the execution isn’t perfect – when you fill it up with water, the inner cup rises up and the lid doesn’t help to keep it down – it should have had a “lip” to “grasp” the outer container and keep the inner cup down. I placed a heavy ice pack on top to help it out, but this invalidates the whole product’s usefulness.

It’s a waste of money.
The box(pack) says air tight lid.. but the lid doesn’t fit.. the inside plastic container Floats when filled with water.. it has no locking mechanism..
Waste of money… Don’t buy..

Le contenant fait une grosse galette de glace dans le bas. Aussi, on se bat un peu pour réussir à extraire la glace! Pas très cher, mais pas à mon goût!

The way it is made exactly right size cubes. No problem with the shape of the ice cup. Good product & idea, THANKS!

Alot easier to operate then I thought and great if you put the water in then the white cup

You would have to make about 7 buckets of ice to create the picture in the image. There is a huge learning curve to making ice (use cool water) without having the water push the bucket up. My husband played along with it for awhile but now every time he fills my water bottle with it and realizes the ice is melted 10 minutes later he’s just pissed.

Used it once, it worked great. Upon second use, my ice started getting blue pieces of rubber stuck to them. I can’t use the ice. I dont recommend this product, stick to regular ice cube trays…at least I can use the plastic bucket for my ice cube trays.
Don’t waste your money

So I love the idea of this, and knew I wanted a lot of ice cubes that everyone at home could make. I give it 4 stars because they are fragile- 2 are cracked already, but still make ice. I like what it is and what it does

I love this. My freezer is way to full and I needed ice this fits perfectly. It took me about 4 cycles to get it down and a condiment squeeze bottle from the dollar store makes it even easier

Everything was just ok with this. Having to just pour water in the rim between the outside silicone and the plastic bucket does not work well. You barely get any water to go in the half circles of the silicone part. Then after it freezes, the plastic bucket is a bit difficult to remove. You definitely don’t get a bucket worth of ice from it…at least the way I tried to do it. If I get it to work better, then I will adjust my rating but for now it’s 3 stars all the way across.

Ok I was very skeptical buying this. As the reviews are not the best. But I love this!
I freeze it a few times a day and just fill up the bucket as I freeze the ice. It is amazing and great size.
So I think the problem for most people is that they add water first and then press the bucket in, or they move to suddenly after filling.
Be sure to do it the other way when you fill it. Make sure the bucket is nice and snug inside and then let a small steam of water fill to the top.. be careful relocating because if you move the bucket around air will get in and all your water will flow to the bottom and then you’ll have to fill again.
The lid is kind of wonky but it sits on there well enough for me. It’s not a big deal though and I don’t force it on. If you press down too hard when putting the lid on that may also make your water flow to the bottom.
