The main issue for me is there no velcro attachment on the 2 ends, so it tends to slip if I move around. Even though there’s a fabric finish, I still need to put a towel between the pack and my skin, but I guess that’s normal. Otherwise, it stays cold for a while, so it serves its purpose.

I love all of these. I now have two of this size and shape. Six of the big 16 by 11 inch size and two of the half sized sheets and two so called eye packs that are a bit smaller than the half size with rounded corners to look like small ovals. I intend to eventually have 8 of the full sheets and two more of the half sized rectangles and maybe one more this size. (To use mainly to spot warm up areas to be massaged and or fascia blasted.) Directions came with this product both boxes as i bought two of these in this order. These directions are missing from all others I have ordered? Seller needs to question why that’s happening no doubt on the other end of the import or on the exports end. If they are missing seller would be wise if they made copies and enclosed those with all the products that are missing these directions. I don’t need them but other folks seem to. Ok this product for me met my expectations for size and shape and usefulness. I love them and they beat any of the seed filled microwave versions by a mile. Having heated up their other shapes numerous times no problem ever with burnt holes or spots into the covers. No gel leakage etc. Edges are well sealed. I look forward to having all the ones I want and or think I need to do what I want…I use three on top of legs to thigh and three under legs to thigh for heating up so massage tools do a better job. Four more I would like to keep in freezer for cooling down and restricting tissue and contract muscles following a vigorous massage session. And the extras sizes also the same story ones for heating and then fewer but enough for cool down or cryo-treatments.

I bought this to use as a cold pack. Straight out of the freezer it was too hard to really adjust and sat uncomfortably over my shoulders. Too much of the gel was in the part the drapes over the front with very little in the back and it was not malleable while cold to move it. It stayed cold for a decent period of time but as it warmed it got wet from condensation and my shirt and the pillow I was laying on got soaked. I paid $15 so it is decent at that price but not spectacular. I like a different brand I purchased at the same time to try much better.

Pros: I have severe back pain and it stays cold for hours , unlike most of which 5-20 minutes is the limit. Cons: I wish it would be made to cover my shoulder blades and the space in between.If this feature could be possible, it would make it a FIVE(5) star. I loved this sooo much that after my pain worsened, I constantly needed something on me at all times that i bought TWO(2)

I like the gel pack for heat. It is comfortable and useful for many areas other than the shoulder. I only wished it didn’t take as long to heat in the microwave. You have to rearrange several times to evenly heat.

Highly recommended for chronic pain sufferers & people experiencing a Fibromyalgia Flare-Up like I am right now that can last a several weeks. Tried so many other gel cold packs last 20+ years.
PROS: Very comfortable. Drapes nicely over shoulders, (sort of con, but it rises enough to help a bit) Rises very slightly to lowest part back of neck. Don’t have to worry about trying to adjust straps.I don’t have to depend on help. NOT stiff when completely frozen, will quickly mold to your body. Yes, you can walk around with this on, weighted enough so it doesn’t fall off.
CONS: Cold lasts about 20-30 minutes or LESS on me. Probably stays ‘cool’ a bit more. Requires 45 Minutes-1 Hour to freeze, which I prefer it frozen. If you don’t need it frozen, 15-20 minutes cools it fine.
Recommendations: I originally bought 2. Since I need it VERY COLD, I just ordered 3 more. Remember the ‘Freezing Time’ it requires if you need it VERY COLD like me.
Design Wish List: Would be nice if it came in different sizes/styles. Want higher neck & extend to cover back of shoulders completely & at least go down to cover upper back.

Pad is not pliable, needs a flannel pad covering its shape and sharp edges. Design is comfortably good for over shoulder and upper back therapy. You have to wait for it to melt so it will shape over shoulders.
