I used them 2 days at work in my lunch box. If one is on the bottom and one at the top (sandwich like) it will keep drinks cold. But if you keep drinks on top of an ice pack w/o sandwiching the drinks with another ice pack, the drinks will be cool (not cold). This was tested in mid to high 80° weather for 5 hrs in the beginning out of direct sunlight and 90-100° for 8 hrs the rest of the day in a vehicle out of direct sunlight. The lunch box I used was a Titan 30 can zipperless lunch box

AMAZING. we use these for our beach and backpack coolers. They stay frozen forever and they don’t get everything wet, like ice. We were at the Waterpark in 104 degree weather and they kept our drinks cold all day.

We had to give up the original ice packs at the airport (liquids/gels). These are the perfect replacement. Remember to freeze them before travelling and the airport will let them through.
