I love this product with one exception, it needs to have longer straps, or an extension strap you can buy separately for larger people. I have Anglosing Spondylitis, Spinal Stenosis, Osteoarthritis, and Sciatica Nerve running thru my Bursa and to my right hip. I am in pain all the time and have to use ice packs alot. I can’t velcro this item if I need to put it down on my hip more where the pain is located most of the time.

I can use while laying down on my side (unlike traditional heating pad). Stays warm for a long time. Haven’t used cold but I’d image pretty good, might get stiff? Idk. But 10/10

I’m using this one for the first time and am very impressed with it.
Comes with 2 gel inserts. This is very well made, there are no sharp edges like you get on some and all seams and stitches look like they are precision made. It is well designed too and fits easily, I’m a large size 36inch waist and fits perfectly but it’s Velcro so will fit most people I imagine. Does up at the front so no twisting to put it on (unlike another one I tried which does up at the rear side and was impossible to fit without an assistant!!) and sits perfectly on your hips to cover your lower spine.
The material is nice and soft too.
An excellent, well designed, well made product. And I have been using ice/warm packs for many years and don’t do many reviews either!

I suffer with a chronic lumber back condition which is gradually getting worse having the second emergency surgery of two within 14 months less than a week ago. I suffer with scatica on a regular basis. This belt helped relieved some pressure causing the pain & brought temporary much needed relief. No fault of the product only surgery could relieve the pain totally. Given timing between purchase & emergency surgery I only got chance to use the hot option not the cold with the belt but it was good & the security provided by the Velcro was excellent. Post surgery once the staples are removed & the wound settles I will continue to use the product as it is good. The service was good, product packaged well & delivery was timely. I would recondite both the product and the seller.

I have brain and spinal cancer, so I am constantly in pain and sore. I usually prefer heat because my chemo messes with my body temperature and makes me cold. However, this summer has been exceptionally warm and the heating pads were just too much. So I needed to find some pain relief that I could sleep with, lay on my side, and still have the product around my body. This product is absolutely perfect for that. The wrap is able to be very snug, so the cold stay on my back at all times. The only problems I have is that 1) sometimes the ice pack can become too hard and will hurt if I lay my back up against something with it on. 2) It melts very quickly. The product will not stay cold for more than 20 mins, and then melts. I understand they made the ice pack with gel to hopefully make it softer and stay cooler — longer. I don’t know if there is anything that can be done to improve those small issues, but overall I am extremely happy with the purchase and use it daily!

I got this for my mom to use to ice her hip easily. She really likes the belt aspect of it. She can put an ice pack in, strap the thing on, and move about if she needs to. The only thing that could be improved is to have directions arrive with the belt. That took a little figuring out by my mom. All things considered, though, she likes this product a lot and sure beats a bag of frozen peas!

I’m so glad I found this! After years of intermittent lower back and neck pain, and struggling to wrap frozen peas in tea towels, this is amazing. Simply leave the gel pack in the freezer (I leave both mine in) and insert into the belt when needed. The belt is really soft and I can tuck it inside my jeans. The gel pack is big enough to cover the areas where my back hurts and moulds to your body so you can carry on as normal. Thoroughly recommend.

I can highly recommend this comfortable to wear ,easy to put on and good having two ice packs so one can be in freezer though it does not really work out because of course it takes longer to freeze one pack than it does to melt the one in use ,works brilliantly to ease pain and is good to be able to wear while you walk about , only complaint I have is that it would be brilliant if it had longer straps.because it’s a bit tight on myself and I’m a size 24/26 so I’m on the larger size ,but we also need to be able to have such items .And all it would take would be to just make straps longer , it’s made of good quality material, And is very well made ,I can highly recommend this item.And I would definitely buy again

Had multi-level disk surgery 2wks ago and needed an ice pack that would stay put as I add activity back into each day. This product couldn’t be any better! The ice packs don’t freeze rock hard, but dense enough to hold a cool temp well beyond 20min. The back brace band fits and feels comfortable. It is flexible enough for movement while still staying put. Wish I’d of found this a year ago while I tried to heal and prevent surgery.
