The handle is pretty flimsy so I recommend to future customers to NOT hold the item up by just the handle. I had also put it in my dishwasher (top row) to wash and sanitize and the whole thing was warped.
Was pretty disappointed with the overall item as it was not as I was expecting. However, I could see it being useful for lighter items and not ice cubes.

 We make some oversized ice, manually, and this is a nice elegant bin to put them in. I was a little worried the handle may not handle the weight of the bin, but it’s pretty sturdy. It fits nicely under the top shelf of the freezer, under the icemaker. Kind of perfect actually. Nice! Ice! Hey, it said my video could be the first. Imagine that! So I had to do it! How’d I do? Oh, yeah, and recommwnded! 🙂

This is the best sized container for our freezer..we have a separate ice maker, and we dump the small ice cubes into this container. The handle has held up great, and it can take the cold temperatures in the freezer.

This item arrived today. It was cracked along the bottom and up one side. It shouldn’t affect its ability to store things. Not sure if the durability of the product or the packaging technique is to blame, either way, its a little disappointing. It still seems like a great product so we will keep it to use.

Purchase this item to hold ice in my freezer. Our freezer icemaker doesn’t release ice so this container is very helpful to store ice in on the shelf. I love the handle it makes it easier to grab the container full of ice.
