So I recently had surgery and wanted a couple ice packs to change out so I always had one these work great but do freeze hard they aren’t the gel but it’s ok I just took them out of the freezer ahead of time put them in a pillow case so they were easier to handle and the pack wasn’t directly on my skin. The size of the ice packs are nice they covered my whole stomach which is what I wanted I also froze them flat.

I’ve had it for 4ish months, The fabric texture is surprisingly nice for a ice pack. It freezes well, folded in half and flat. Straight out of the freezer, it’s firmer than I would hope, But it holds cold for a long time and is very flexible. Overall, I’m happy.

I suffer from chronic inflammation in the lower back region and this is the best ice pack I’ve ever used. I’ve used it several times and it appears to be very durable and of high quality. I saw several reviewers posted some issues that I wanted to address from my personal experience. 1. Limited flexibility once it’s fully frozen. If the pack is left in the freezer for several hours then yes, it is frozen hard. Solution: Either let it sit out about 30 mins before using or keep it in the freezer no more than an hour. 2. It “sweats”. Solution: Wrap it in a towel, you really should do this anyway to avoid potential frostbite. 3. The pack is sometimes “lumpy” when frozen. Solution: Ensure it’s flat when in the freezer, due to the size I simply fold it in the middle and have never had a problem. The pros include that it is a great size for larger areas, like the back, shoulder, or even over a leg/knee. The fully frozen pack lasts for HOURS! I can use the off/on method for several hours with just one hard freeze. It truly is the best ice pack that I’ve ever owned and the bonus is getting two of them with this deal. I highly recommend.
