If you want your whisky ice cold, these won’t do it, but the flavor of good whisky is different when it’s ice cold — flattened a bit, you lose some of the nuance. I like most of mine between around 55 degrees and just a bit cooler than room temperature. After a few hours in the freezer, one of these little beauties cooled my whisky from about 67 degrees to a nice 52, warming to 59 after about 30 minutes. They’re perfect for what I want them for.

These cubes are awful. They only stay cold for about 5 minutes despite being in the freezer for days. Used once and will never use again, did nothing unless you put them in, and chuck the whiskey down your throat in less that a minute or so. They look nice as a gift, but I can’t see the recipient being impressed.

I’ve been using the plastic variety of frozen ice cubes for years. They’re one step from useless. These, on the other hand, are great. Just one CAUTION. Do NOT drop them into fine crystal … gently put them in. I cracked one crystal glass from the inside by dropping the metal cube into it. I highly recommend.

I really like these reusable ice cubes! They are great to use in everything. I bought 4 of them so when I have guests over for drinks 🍸, I’ll have enough to go around, so this will definitely come in handy. What I love about them, the cubes stay cold for several hours (about 2-3 hours), so it can be used for several drinks. They are so easy to clean, you can either put them in the dishwasher or soak and wash by hand. I love the case it comes in and the tongs used to pick up the cubes. It just gives it a professional and elegant look and feel. I’ll definitely be getting these as gifts for my friends.

This product is packaged very beautifully. Great presentation from the get-go. It chilled my whiskey without the ice melting into it and diluting it. It even comes with a tray to keep the cubes in while in the freezer, and a set of small ice tongs that fits into the tray very nicely as well. You also can’t beat the price for a product with this much quality. 5 stars all day long!!

Better than expected and I know my partner is going to love it. The suppliers also sent personalised messages keeping me up to date with the dispatch of the item which actually made the experience more pleasant. I feel that had there been an issue they would have been more than happy to resolve it. Overall a nice, smooth transaction and a beautiful product that I am sure will work and be used often.

I bought these cubes because I don’t like my drinks watered down, I had used the plastic cheap ones for years and wasn’t happy. Whiskey Sours, Old Fashioned’s, etc., really suffer with regular ice cubes after awhile. I read some reviews where these don’t cool that much, maybe a couple of degrees? Pretty sure that was their ‘gut feel’ and nothing scientific. I put 4 cubes in about 4oz of room temperature water, shook the glass a bit, and after a few seconds, with two different thermometers, the temperature did drop over 10 degrees. I put 4 cubes in a 2 ounces of of good whisky and again the temp dropped more than 10 degrees. Of course you’re not going to get the same results with a big glass of liquor or liqueur, you have to use your head. The manufacturer suggests using 3 to 4 cubes per drink, so with 8 cubes, maybe at a party, two people can use them, they’ll warm up, and your subsequent drinks will get regular ice cubes, so their usefulness is limited to 2 drinks. I thought I’d just use 4 cubes in my daily night cap, but when you tip the glass, especially if these metal cubes are atop one another, they can come crashing down towards your teeth and you might freak out, like me. So now I just put one cube in my drink, it takes a few seconds, but it’s sufficiently cooled to make the drink more enjoyable.

I bought these as my partner doesn’t like ice cubes. TL;DR: they’re ok, but not brilliant.
On the plus side, they were well-presented and the case and tongs were a nice touch. However, at the end of the day, they just aren’t that good at holding their cool temperature. A short whiskey glass will need at least 4 of these to cool the drink down sufficiently for a very short while, if you want to cool a bigger drink for anything longer than 5-10 minutes, these aren’t really suitable.

Got this for my dad who has everything 🤣 he loves a nice glass of whiskey now and again so insted of adding more to his collection 😅 I bought him these and these are super cool! Using real ice cubes can get annoying as it’ll just water down the drink 😛 but thoses are super cool! And stays cooler for longer! Comes with a cute message and 2 super stick coasters! And a pair of tweezers for picking up the steel cubes! He’s loves it! Really great Christmas present!
