I really like these larger cubes. For the most part they melt slower than the other traditional trays. My son recently came over and had a “drink” and when given the larger cubes he was amazed a few hours later that the cubes were still in ice form. Smaller but still there. The smaller ones would have melted much sooner and watered the drink down. And I was told by my daughter that you can also use them to freeze broths. They take up less space and you can stack them. Also my ice maker went on the fritz so this was a much easier and cheaper fix. Thank you for small or should I say large favors.

I was pleased with this product. I read and followed the directions and had none of the problems other reviewers mentioned. I only use the trays for making ice (water only). If you use them for storing portions of food, you may have the problem of white flecks. I have experienced this with my silicone baking cups and believe that household silicone kitchen items are slightly porous and can “excrete” fats/oils in solid form once the item is dry and back to room temperature. (That’s just my uneducated theory based on observation.) For those having trouble with the lid, my trick is to place the lid on the semi-full tray (don’t overfill), then push your fingers all around the edges, pushing the tray firmly up into the lid on all edges and corners.

In the quest to help me drink more water, I purchased the trays in order to recreate various “bougie” ice cube ideas that I found on Pinterest. Let’s just say they make drinking water a lot more fun now. They are super easy to clean, and really flexible. I do however struggle with pushing them out at times but with a little added pressure, it normally gets the job done. Highly recommend. #itswhatyouneed

Finding deep ice cube trays isn’t difficult be we like the cover so we can stack them! The ice cubes come out easily enough – but it’s a large cube so it is going to take some effort no matter what. Love that these can go in the dishwasher
