Easy to use and doesn’t take up a lot of space in my freezer

Love the cubes
The spheres I need to work with more as they did not come out perfect

I like the square cube trays flexibility, easy to release the cubes. The Ice ball tray needs improvement, doesn’t maintain the seal between upper and lower sections very well, resulting in lots of flattened Ice balls.

Removal of the cubes from that mould is fairly difficult but easy to fill. Removal of the spherical ones is far easier but a lot more challenging to fill. Having a solid board as support for the spherical mould makes filling and moving to the freezer a lot easier.

Forms are great size and I really like the cubes. May be just me,, but have a very hard time filling the sphere form. The top just kind of sits there and a lot of spillage occurs when moving to the freezer. Will buy more squares, but no more spheres.

The molds do not let you create a decent circle very easily. The bottom squares are fine, but the circles end up leaking all over the place as the fit isn’t right between the layers so you end up with a half-sphere. This is pretty much a design fail in my opinion. They work, but I wish I hadn’t bothered buying them.

Made first ice balls yesterday, which worked well. The advice to slightly warm by resting the ice before putting in the drink works. For my first try I didn’t and the sphere split in half; second try it stayed a sphere. Brilliant!
But note: some criticisms of it making only half spheres show lack of understanding how to fuse the top and bottom. It is important to press round each mould and feel the small ‘clicks’ as the halves join and seal.
The most important aspect for me was to find a supplier from anywhere but China. The only thing not clear is whether the product is made in China but distributed by a US company. Hopefully this will be clarified by the seller, and hopefully show it is made in and distributed from US/UK/Australia/Europe.

This is my first Ice Cube & Sphere mould I got for this Christmas to try and make some cocktails.
To get the standard size of an Ice cube is easy, just fill it up and leave it to freeze over night. The sphere one is a bit tricky when I first did it and it kinda worked and by that I mean when I pulled out the sphere and cracked to use one of the sphere, as soon as I poured liquid on it, the ice sphere cracked and that it because of how I filled it.
I tried it the second time and it came out just right. All you need to do is, shut it all the way in with out any water, then lift one of the corners and pour water till you see it fill up on the corner that you’re holding, turn it the other way around and repeat it.
As soon as you’re done doing that, there are small holes on the top, just take cake and fill it up till it overlaps and place it in the freezer and leave it over night, take it out of the freezer the very day or whenever you wanna use it, first crack it open, without trying to open up the lid and then use a bit of force to open up one of the corner, which actually comes off easily and you’ll notice it looks perfect.
It is one of the best ones and I would 100% recommend it and may even buy one ”hoping the owner would just send me a free one : -)”

Great molds. Running the trays under water for a bit, helps in the ice removal process.

The cube tray is easy to use and release the ice, which is significantly larger than a traditional tray produces. The cubes are well defined and clear. The tray, although flexible, is firm enough to transport to the freezer with minimal flexing and spillage. A 5 star product
The sphere maker is less impressive, although still effective. I have found it more difficult to fit the lid without spill over while creating a seal around the centre of the ball. With a few trial runs, the ice balls are round with a 90% fill and create a nice effect.

This product is great especially the square ones, the reason for only 4 stars the spherical tray would have been better if a little funnel to fill the sphere had been supplied, however, easy to remove as the mould is silicon and a good price.

This is a good product for making large ice cubes for cocktails. It is a bit of a pest to get the correct amount of water in the trays & covered and not spilling the water when putting the trays in the freezer. They’re fine but nothing to rave about.

Loves the squares, the circles were more difficult to fill.
