Love these balls but a little too big for water bottles

I was first introduced to these ice ball molds when I visited my Mom in Florida. She had one large sphere silicone mold and a tray of 6 smaller sphere molds that was made of hard plastic. Since I had not seen these before, I really liked them! But they were more difficult to use. The silicone was easier, but only 1 at a time? 🤔 This mold tray is “the BOMB”! This is a high quality, well-made product that is so easy to use, remove, clean, and fill again. Directions were concise and easy to follow. Love the tight seal this tray achieves, with silicone buttons you push into place to seal the mold. I use purified water in this to get “clear” ice balls. There are quite a few choices on Amazon, but so glad I chose this one. Very happy! Cheers! 🎉🥃

Exactly what I needed. Letting the frozen mold sit for five minutes made it easy for the ice to release. A steady hand is needed to fill the mold with water. I’m happy with the purchase.

But hard to fill and put in the freezer without spilling. And opening it up is a chore.

Works ok. However the Ice balls get stuck in the mould when it comes out of the freezer and if you run water over them to free them they can crack in half.
Regret not spending an extra tenner on the insulated one that makes clear ice. It works just about ok.

It’s easy to use and could as fruit with no problem. My friend me plan to order one as well.

If I close my eyes it’s almost as if the pandemic was never here and I was sipping my bourbon with ice in a trendy bar.
…but then I open my eyes and I’m sat alone on a Friday night and the world’s still on fire, the only thing that numbs the pain of the past 12 months is a good drink with fancy spherical ice.

Bought these to use for cocktails and gin but have surprisingly reached for them every day for all of my drinks. Easy to use and freezes faster than I expected. If you don’t want the balls to crack leave them to melt slightly for a few minutes before pouring liquid over them.

I love these not just my whiskey but for everyday drinks also

Easy to use and makes perfect ice balls. Don’t fill them full – leave some room for the water to expand as it freezes.
Martha Smith –
Satisfied with everything but the difficulty removing the ice. Have to run water over the unit & then have to twist & pry to get the frozen spheres out.

If you are thrilled at the prospect of soaking your kitchen floor, whlst trying not to slip over and do yourself an injury, this could be right up your street.

I love the product as a concept. Some feedback for you: (1) the quantity of water to pour into the mould – you can’t see into the sphere to determine what is 80% – so I established through trial and error that 100mls of water per sphere was the optimum – that info would be helpful for people (2) the moulds have to stand at room temp for some time after removing them from the freezer before being able to release the ice easily. Again some guidance on this would be of great help in encouraging repeat use/repeat purchase.
