I almost didn’t buy these because of some of the reviews. Glad I did! They are really good, but a couple of things: 1) The square tray gets heavy when you put water in it and the silicone isn’t sturdy (it’s a floppy material!) so you need to put the ice cube tray on a plate or sheet pan to fill it and place it in the freezer. 2) the round cubes need to be placed on a tray also, and I’ve found that they sort of “snap” together. Make sure they are snapped all the way around. Also, when you fill them you should go ahead and let the water just stay on the outside part. If you try to dump it, you will empty the round molds as well. The extra ice is easy to remove when they are frozen. 3) Someone mentioned that they were hard to unmold. I hold my warm hand around the outside for a few seconds before I push the cubes out. If silicone is sticking to your cubes, you might have your freezer on a very cold setting and you might need to wait a little longer before unmolding. Having said all of that, these work very well and the cubes are impressive!

Whoever decided on large ice cubes was very smart great alcoholic drinks the ice last longer you don’t I misread it I thought both of them came with a lid the round one come with a lid the square one don’t but they’re very easy to pop out it comes with six squares and six circle I get 12 large ice cube’s all together I dump it out in the freezer bag and take it to go never leave home without it

The large cubes are great and easy to use. The spheres are more difficult to get right, it takes a lot of practice and I still get “half” rounds rather than full rounds. So the squares are a 5, and the spheres are a 3 giving an overall rating of 4 for the full product.

I got both the square and the round molds. The squares are very easy to fill, the round are a bit more tricky but not bad. They make nice ice cubes in both molds, and are very easy to remove. I’ve only had them for a short time but seem like they are going to be fine. The odor some people talk about was removed with a simple quick hand washing, never noticed it again. I would recommend them.
