I really like the 2″ cube tray. It’s easy to get the cubes out because it’s so flexible, but that does make it a bit of a challenge to get it in the freezer. Make sure you have a clear spot that’s easily accessible to place it, as it’s really wobbly when full of water. I pour whiskey chilled in the freezer over a 2″ cube in a 10 oz Yeti lowball that’s been chilled in the freezer and it takes hours for the cube to melt. Very minimal dilution.
The spheres are pretty useless, though. The tray is hard to fill with the little funnel, it’s messy since you have to overfill to be sure it’s topped off, and the frozen volume of the spheres is only half that of the cubes. I threw the sphere tray in the trash after one go. I’d rather they had sent me two cube trays for the price.

It’s a pretty simple product. My only complaint is that for the spherical ice molds, it’s not very reliable. Water spills over to the other molds as the top and bottom pieces don’t secure to well. As a result trying to fill them can be a bit of a pain, but otherwise it gets the job done.

Filling the round cubes took a few times to get it right but the round cubes are def worth it. The square cube tray is easier to fill but releasing the first cube was a little tough. Worked well after running cool water on the back of tray though.

Square cube tray is easy to fill and easy to remove cubes. I like the round but take more time and care to fill and get full enough to be round without getting a lot of ice between the ice balls. If you want round ice there are better options out there.

The molds are pretty solid and my whiskey doesn’t get watered down as quickly as I used to. They give you a tiny funnel to fill the ice ball mold. Can be time consuming since you have to pour the water in the funnel very slowly but it is what it is. The cube tray however can make some pretty sharp ice blocks so there’s a real risk of getting cut when you’re trying to take them out of the mold. I don’t detect any bad taste when using ice from these molds so that’s a huge plus.
Do I regret buying this? Nah it delivers what it promises. If you buy it, just be careful when you use it.

They make sphere ice cubes and they make square ice cubes. So overall I am happy but the process to get the sphere ones to work is a little cumbersome. I have to let half the tray freeze and then fill the top half in order to get full spheres.

End product is great every time for the squares. For round ice balls, it is not as consistent because it is not easy to get water distribution in tray and can never do it on the first try. You need to fill two or three times to get full spheres. Rubber material allows for easy removal and seems to be good quality.

The whole thing is made with soft silicone, I wish the bottom is made with harder material because it is very difficult to pick it up after you fill the water since it just wobbles around water will leak out if it. I finally figure out to place a small plate under it and pick up the plate instead and left the plate with it inside the freezer. But that is a pain in the butt.
