Ive found the easiest way to use this is to put a small amount of water in it, just enough to tap it on a work surface (once frozen) to break the ice. The bag could benefit from a separate elastic strap to prevent it from dropping off if you move slightly but not a ‘deal breaker.’ I do like the quality of the Medicos products so I also purchased their knee ice strap. Onwards and upwards.

I had one of these before bought from Marshall’s years ago this one’s made better
Nancy –
It is a little smaller than the last one i had. Works well. Does not leak which is crucial

Handy ice bag for injuries (think bag of frozen peas – but with ice cubes, and re-usable); I suffer with gout and this ice pack is great for helping to relieve those throbbing / stabbing pains after a long day.

Wish it were. Larger bag

Used for knee pain

This is a major upgrade from the ice packs of old. The Medcosa is compact but holds a lot more ice/water than expected. The very attractive cloth bag cover doesn’t get wet. This bag delivers all that is promised.

So good I ordered another, works great with reusable ice cubes inside (around 16 is a good amount) and the material is perfect for doing it’s job. The lid feels sturdy and well made, overall a very good product.
Mr. Daz –
I suffer with intense anxiety and over heat with it. This is absolutely amazing to cool my body down so i can relax through the anxiety. Definitely wish I brought one months ago. Fantastic
Jean Conaghan –
Bought this product for arthritis (sudo gout) which is painful joints … The ice pack calmed the swelling down and eased the pain ..very easy to use either put ice cubes with a little water or put water in the pack and put in freezer and then just bash the pack to break up the ice.

If you don’t seal the lid tightly, it will leak a little if turned over when the ice cubes start to melt inside. I’ve used it several times and I will continue to use it.
