These are nicely made, easy enough to fill, and you can remove cubes from them without too much difficulty. However, I do wish the top wasn’t flat cut and featured a lip so you could fill the cubes without spilling.

If you want actual, literal cubes of ice, these trays do that really well. A couple of reasons this only gets four stars, however: Reason #1: Maybe I am just extra sensitive to temperatures, but I find my hands start to hurt by the time I finish emptying the tray. It definitely takes longer to get the cubes out than your standard plastic tray. Reason #2: I ordered a second pair of these trays after I received the first ones, (within the same week) but they weren’t the same: a slightly different material, color and stiffness. All in all, these make nice pretty ice cubes and are easy to fill, but they get only four stars for difficulty removing the cubes and possible product consistency issues.
