I’m more of a ‘neat’ guy so don’t put ice in my scotch or whiskey. But that’s not what I use these for. They are absolutely fantastic for dropping into a Yeti tumbler and keeping a ginger and jack cold for hours. I really hate watered down drinks and these keep drinks cold for hours without watering them down. I use these every time I go for round of golf and they keep my drinks cold for 18 holes and are still freezing cold when I get home and clean them off (although I’m sure the Yeti gets most of the credit for keeping them cold that long). I can refill my tumbler numerous times (bad rounds sometimes call for more ‘swing oil’) and they stay cold and not watered down. I just bought a set for my daughter as a stocking stuffer. Highly recommended.

Each cube is about 1 1/2″ cubed. You get 2 cubes & storage / freezing container with snap closed lid. Inside each of these sealed casings is a liquid (these are not solid metal cubes). If shaken when not frozen you can hear the liquid inside.
Once frozen (which takes several hours (4-6 listed on box)) you can place 1 or more into your beverage to chill it or help keep it cool, just as you would do with ice. As these warm up they will not melt & dilute your beverage as ice would.
I would say when it comes to cooling these work about as good & long as ice cubes would being the same size & quantity. I would say these SS cubes do a better job of keeping your drink cool over cooling a warm drink down.
I don’t notice these transferring any metal taste to what you are drinking. After use & washing make sure to dry well before placing back into the storage / freezing container & freezing so they don’t get stuck in the container with frozen ice on the outside.
I purchased 2 sets. One of the 4 cubes is a little wider then the others & gets jammed in the container once it freezes. The other 3 come out easy but this one takes some effort to get out.

I tried these in both warm and already chilled drinks. They can maintain a cold drink for quite a while, but if the liquid is room temperature, it won’t cool it down to fridge-level temperatures. They do last a long time in your drinks, and they freeze quickly. They’re sleek and useful, but the price is quite steep for only 2 cubes.

Aunque me gustaría que enfriaran mas tiempo cumple que te tomes un buen whiskey con su debido tiempo, a buena temperatura, sin perder sabor de la bebida ni agregando sabor a metal y se ven bien en el vaso. El uso es exclusivo para vasos “whiskeros”, mi sobrino quiso usarlo para su vaso alto con leche y casi rompe el vaso al dejar caer el “hielo”. Recomendación, déjenlos en la parte trasero del congelador.

I spent a lot of time deciding which ones to get and I’m very happy with my decision. I dig that they come in that plastic holder which is great for putting into the freezer and not taking up much room.
A little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for (usually) and they last forever so meh whatever it’s all good.
Reading reviews on whisky stones it seemed to me that some people like to pour room temp liquid onto them and have them chill it down. But I use these to keep a cold drink cold, not to make it cold, although it seems these would do that as well, though probably not as well as ice. I keep my glasses and spirits in the freezer so these stones keep my drinks icey cold to the last drop no problem, even if I leave it sitting out for a while.
10/10 product.

la verdad esperaba estos cubos un poco más grandes depende de que es lo que vayas a tomar sirven, si lo quieres para el whiskey uno en un vaso de whiskey queda perfecto ya que es muy poca la cantidad de liquido que servirías, si la quieres para bebidas con más volumen como algún refresco dudo que con los 2 cubos te des abasto, pero bueno las cosas para lo que son, y para el whiskey quedan perfecto!
