When our old ice cube trays were done, I thought we could be all cutesy and get replacements with special shapes and features. It didn’t work. We tried several brands and styles and it just wasn’t worth it. They all either leaked or were impossible to use. Go old school and buy these. They may be boring but they make ice cubes.

These are perfect. I’ve been using plastic trays with silicone, which were easier on release than the generic ones that came with my refrigerator. When the silicone-plastic trays cracked I was going to replace them with silicone ones, but thought I’d try these first. Wow! I sure am glad I did, the cubes are larger than the silicone tray’s, and they release Even much more easily. If I ever need to replace these I’m buying these again.
