In my bid to batch cook and stock my freezer, I did what we all do and used a variety of freezer bags, foil pans and plastic containers. Yes, they work. But, Souper Cubes raises the level of organization and convenience to a far superior level. They are great for portion size and the uniform sizes/shapes makes for easy “stackability and compatability.” My freezer is so much more organized and definitely neater. I own multiples of Souper Cubes in every size from 2 tablespoons to 2 cups. I love them so much that I have bought and gifted them to multiple family members. Like me, they are just as pleased with this product. Only problem now is I am running out of freezer space…lol!

I am disabled and live alone and sometimes it is just hard to cook myself nice meals and when I do I am used to cooking for myself and 4 kids. My kids are all grown now so when I cook I end up having to eat leftovers for days to keep from throwing out food.

These are FANTASTIC. I had my son come over and we made 4 big casseroles (2 different kinds), 2 big batches of Chicken n Dumplings and two BIG batches of Chili and used Souper Cubes to freeze it all in single servings (I have six of the 2 cup trays so can freeze 12 servings at a time). After they are frozen I vacuum seal them individually. Now even when I am not getting around well enough to cook myself a meal I can just take one of my many frozen cubes out and eat a decent meal.

Anything with a tomato sauce did appear to stain a bit and was hard to get off by hand but when I put them in the dishwasher they came out like new, no sign of staining. The lids are a hard plastic, the type that can easily crack but as long as you are aware of that fact it’s easy to be a little gentile with them and it shouldn’t be a problem.

Now that I have 6 of the 2 cup version I will work on getting a few of the 1 cup ones for other types of foods and broths. These are not cheap but they are, in my opinion, well worth the price.

I wasn’t expecting these things to be so sturdy. They are built to last.

We were needing to make big ice cubes and got tired of breaking plastic containers (as the ice would freeze downward and they would crack). These work awesome and the ice is easy to get out. The sturdy frame works wonderful and I am able to stack 3 deep in the freezer.

….justify the cost by using them to bake banana bread when you’re not freezing soup and stews.

I love how these stack flatly in the freezer. I don’t use the measuring marks, but I can see how they might be really useful. The only thing I don’t like is that, when you eat what’s in one half the tray, it goes back into the freezer and takes up space for the empty side. I would LOVE to see this also sold in a small size.
