As many reviews said, it is a pain to get out. I don’t know why they didn’t make the base silicone too. After many tries, I figured the easiest was, as some suggested, is to turn it upside and pour hot water (boiling better). Leave it there for a couple of minutes and the ball will loosen from the base.

These are good. Fill the base and then put the top on. Water will spurt out. I blow off some off what’s on top. I do run hot water to break lose. Doesn’t always look like a golf ball. This is better than the last mold I got. Hold its form as it is hard plastic. Works great, I sometimes save em up if needed. Would buy again.

Have had a few molds for large ice balls and decided to try these golf ball molds. They are easy to use, easy to fill and with a little hot water run over the mold, easy to get out of the mold. The frozen golf balls are just okay. Compared to other plain, round molds the golf ball ice seems more difficult to get a nice, round shape and the ice itself isn’t clear even though I use bottled water. Once placed into a drink the golf ball becomes more visible and our guests get a kick out of them. They freeze well and are easy to use, just don’t expect perfectly round, clear ice balls. I would still buy them again because they are fun for the golfers.

I have tons of ice molds and this one is super easy to use. Three molds come in a pack and they resemble a golf ball. The ice molds are a little bigger than your average sized ice cube but I’m not complaining
I love Tovolo for ice cubes. I had to get this one too – it is ice golf balls! Recieved yesterday but one of the covers is damaged (on the right). Have requested the seller to send a replacement cover – I don’t need a refund, new set nor do I want to return the other two – too much of wastage of resources and time. But would appreciate a cover only.
