So have had a few different versions of ice trays and this one gets the most comments. The round seems to be popular. They are hard to get out, need to be run under some water often times to get them moving. Filling is not great, not bad. I fill half way, add the silicone top and use a squeeze bottle with a bent, built in staw to top them off. Then squeeze a thumb print amount back out for ice expansion. Found the funnel to be pretty small.

It’s so fun to use this in so many different flavors. However, it’s hard to see if it’s filled or not. The difficult part for me is to remove it. Once I learn how to remove this, I’m sure that I’ll be raving about it. You can literally use for Thai ice tea, coffee, plain water, lemonade…etc. The idea is endless!

I tried to use this to make ice and the ice balls had cracks in them and were also really hard to get out of the mold. Using it to make jello was also not possible coz pulling the mold open broke the jello. Same with chocolate. Same with agar agar. Not a good product.

These have a harder side and the silicone side where you fill with water. It comes with a funnel, but I found it easer to turn the faucet on low to fill. There is water that runs out and makes a bit of a mess, but luckily it’s just water. It takes a bit of twisting to pop the ball out. I have found this with all my ice cube trays. The ice cube “balls” turn out great.

I love these ice “cubes”. Filling is easy and if you fill correctly you get a perfect sphere ice ball. Requires a bit of patience compared to filling a standard ice tray. Takes about 3mins to fill each fully and properly otherwise you will receive a mostly round ball but with a flat spot if you did not fill properly. Note: Sometimes due to the freezing process when a fresh ice sphere makes contact with liquid the sphere will crack and split in half ruining the experience. Final thought: almost perfect for mixed drinks. Allows chilling without watering down quickly
