Bought these as a gift for my husband who has a bourbon a few nights a week: in theory, they’re great: freeze well & keep 2 fingers of bourbon cold long enough to drink, BUT… My husband informed me that he prefers to have actual ice melting in his bourbon as he drinks it. We’ll hang on to them for other drinks that we Don’t want diluted, but he says he’ll probably stick to his ice for his bourbon (just his preference). They are nice tho: well made and came in a nice gift box with a recipe book.

My stones came in today and I was immediately floored! They arrived in a very fancy, padded case with a velvet bag and handling tongs. The blocks are actually bigger than I thought, but no so big that they’ll fit in just about any glass. The kit included a recipe book for drinks and a guarantee that if anything fails, they’ll replace it for free, though I don’t imagine a situation they would fail as they look like really well constructed stainless steel cubes, but good to know that’s there. They arrived this morning and I left them in the freezer while I went to work. Came home, and they were super ready for my evening cocktail, kept my drink AND refill cold and stayed cold long after. I can’t wait to host a party and use these, they add a total classy touch! I had originally purchased these as a gift, but now I’m keeping them for myself and ordering more because they make the perfect gift! The box they come in alone is worth keeping! These were perfect!

I don’t like that they’re not solid food grade stainless and liquid filled. I don’t mind, because Aberdeen sent me an instant rebate to get them and they were free! Over all, good items, but only to pour 1 finger at a time of your desired whiskey
