I was in need of new ice cube trays because I don’t have the ice maker hooked up in my freezer. Randomly searched for ice trays with lids and eventually discovered this item. I liked that it had a container instead of a lid only. The tongs are small and thin. They’re perfect for my 10 year who loves to use them. The ice cubes are very small, which is fine with me. There aren’t specific instructions to tell you how much water to use or if there is a fill line. Thanks to other reviewers who shared to use 300 ml or a little less. Others have said that the water splashed everywhere, but it’s because too much water was added. It was also mentioned that this item was on social media, but I don’t know anything about that. Also, it’s easy to remove the ice. The trays extend on one end, so you just pull apart. Easy to use, compact, nice color, and makes a lot of mini ice cubes. I’m pleased with my purchase.

These ice trays are awesome! The round I’ve seems to melt slower than any of the ice maker bullet ice. It takes a minute to get the hang of filling it just enough that you don’t get splashed but we are very pleased. We have two sets now!

We have a top freezer with no ice maker. Have been using the traditional large cube ice trays. Got this to have smaller ice. Works very well. Only questionable item is the ice container that comes with it. The lid just rests on top. Would be better if it were a snap on lid.

It’s a nice idea, a great product, even.. but don’t get it if it’s for a little round ice cube boost of serotonin.. I was having an ok day, until I tried to fill these suckers up. Not only did the stream of water splash me in the eye due to the beautiful curvature of the ice mold, when you put the top on, water squirts out as well.. then, when you think you’re in the clear, you have to make sure you’re holding the molds with water completely level, otherwise water is EVERYWHERE.. once I settled down and cleaned up the water.. all was good. Now that I have the hang of it, we have wonderful little balls of ice for our drinks.
